calcium magnesium anxiety
what are some natural cures for anxiety/depression?

i know excersize, eat right, magnesium, calcium etc….anything else?

Exersize is right! Best thing… yoga… is better. No sugar, little carbs and no caffeine (sucks i know). Go get some vitamine B complex, Omega 3’s (fish oil) and some adrenal support (I take Astragalus) you can get all of them at GNC. Eat a high fat / high protein diet. Get out and keep busy… if the anxiety goes away the depression might soon follow. Breathing helps a TON.. when you feeling the anxiety.. breath in through your nose.. fill it up your belly with air..all the way down to your diaphram …slowly…as much as you can and let it out slowly.. it will calm you instantly… this stuff will pass… I’m going thru it right now too…. good luck! keep your head up ;)

excessive worrying vs. anxiety?

How are they the different and how do I know if my excessive worrying is anxiety or not? I’ve tried to meet with counselors on campus, but they’ve got “high volume” and had a waiting list of over a month.

I basically overanalyze, worry and overreact about everything and it’s burdening my relationship with my boyfriend. I worry about things 6 months in advance, and sometimes when I can’t talk to him I get this uncontrollable feeling that i HAVE to talk to him and if I don’t i’m going to lose it.

What does this sound like to you? Do I just worry too much or could I suffer from anxiety??

sidenote – my mom has bipolar disorder.

You are suffering from anxiety for sure. Try to avoid drugs if you can help it,,, but if it gets bad enough, they can really help big time!
